As a Healing Streams art therapist, I have found tremendous joy leading interactive workshops. Through inspiring teams toward expressing themselves with clay, then joining their work together, we have been surprised to find themes and strengths of the teams emerge. I have also had the pleasure of leading fifty women at a weekend retreat in sculpting Ebenezers. With clay they sculpted a rock representing Gods grace and personal touch upon their lives. With prayer and gentle urging, the women found courage to share their personal stories of how God met them in their deepest anguish. I was brought to tears by the sculptures and stories of some women who had found comfort in God.
Interactive workshops make use of sculpture and hand building techniques.
