Raku-fired ceramic beads
I use the ancient raku firing procedure to create gorgeous beads and pendants. Although the results are unique and uncontrolable, my typical raku has a smoky-coloured clay with turquoise, copper, black, metallic red, purple, green or gold colours, and sometimes crackled glaze. Each hand-made bead is a piece of art. They are attractive on their own or in combination with other beads. Enjoy using these raku beads for jewelry with an astounding effect.
